
Qliphoth Awakening is a minecraft mod i am very proud of. I decided to make it because bosses in other mods were not something i personally liked. This project allows me to do and practice everything i want - visual effects, game design, sounds, music, models, textures and so on.

What's the mod about?
Qliphoth Awakening is a mod that focuses on adding various bosses, each has its own set of attacks, unique mechanics and drops.
Before summoning a boss you will be presented an in-depth description of its attacks and mechanics, you can either read them all and be prepared, or try your skill and go in blindly.

At the moment of writing currently there are 3 bosses that are released in Qliphoth Awakening. It is planned to make a total of 10 different bosses, each with its own unique mechanics. Red color denotes what bosses are yet to be released, and blue color means that boss is already released.

Geburah
At the moment Geburah (or, as someone called it - The final boss of multitasking) is one of the most difficult bosses in the mod. Its main mechanic are sins - actions that should not be commited during the battle. When player accumulates too much sins - it instantly dies.
The difficulty comes from looking out for current active sins that change each attack cycle. To defeat the boss the player must utilize the sin mechanic - not even the judge is safe from it. Yes there is a "Staying still" sin there, but its only for living creatures!!!


Chesed
Chesed is the first ever released boss, the one that started it all. This boss, i would say, is medium on the scale of this mods difficulty.
Its main gimmick is armor piercing attacks, that force the player to actively dodge them. Its ultimate attack makes it a requirement to destroy special entities - Monoliths around Chesed before it arrives, otherwise the instant death is guaranteed.
To defeat the boss player must wait for boss lightning ray attack, destroy one of the crystals on the edges of the arena, and run towards ray reflectors, that reflect the boss ray back to it.


Malkuth
While Malkuth may not have a good model, its still a very cinematic but easy boss. Its main mechanic is different attack types - Fire and Ice.
The player has a weakness either to fire or ice, receiving ice damage makes player weaker to ice and receiving fire damage makes player weaker to fire. Player can be weak only to 1 element at a time. The mechanic is better understood on an example:
If the player is weak to Fire - it is immune to Ice attacks and receives damage from Fire attacks.
If the player is weak to Ice - it is immune Fire attacks and receives damage from Ice attacks.
